We will enjoy a narrated tour of Uptown/Downtown New York City before we board our luxurious cruise ship for an 8 day cruise up the New England Coast and around Nova Scotia, Canada.

Day 1, Thursday, September 30

We board our motor coach for a travel day to Dayton, Ohio.

Day 2, Friday, October 1

Another travel day takes us through the beautiful hills of Pennsylvania and into Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Day 3, Saturday, October 2

We only have a short distance to drive this morning before arriving in the awesome metropolis of New York City to pick up our local guide for a tour of Uptown/Downtown to include such things as Ground Zero, the Financial District, Times Square and all the exciting places you have always heard about. Our tour ends at the Pier where we will board our ship to begin our unbelievable cruise up the New England Coast and across the Atlantic Ocean to Nova Scotia, Canada. Fall Colors should be a site to behold.We will have dinner on the ship.

Day 4, Sunday, October 3

Today our port of call is Boston. With street patterns owing to 17th-century London, Boston, "America's Walking City" and home of the original tea party, is a beautiful city, full of historic sites. From Bunker Hill to the U.S.S. Constitution, this gateway to New England boasts many famous places to visit. Boston has some of the most well preserved historic buildings in the country, and it's compact enough so that you can see them all on foot. Optional shore excursions are available.

Day 5, Monday, October 4

Big city excitement with small town charm - you can find it all in Portland, a 360-year-old city rich with history and culture. Picturesque cobblestone streets lined with Victorian-era buildings, a vibrant waterfront, one of a kind shops and galleries, historical homes and museums, and plenty of restaurants to suit your culinary fancy. And all within walking distance!

Day 6, Tuesday, October 5

Today we have a fun day at sea. Enjoy the casino, shop in the shops, indulge yourself in the spa or see a movie. This is the day to truly be at leisure.

Day 7, Wednesday, October 6

Today our port of call is Halifax, Nova Scotia. Hundreds of miles of incredible coastline with majestic scenery from end to end qualifies Halifax as perhaps one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world. You'll find the perfect blend of big city excitement, small town charm and natural pristine beauty. There's plenty to see in Halifax. From picturesque fishing villages, to vibrant shopping districts. Not to mention impressive galleries and museums, historic sites, fine restaurants and colorful gardens.

Day 8, Thursday, October 7

Today our port of call is Saint John, New Brunswick. Ever wondered what a town on the bay with the highest tides in the world would be like? You should visit the nearly 400-year-old harbor town of Saint John, New Brunswick. A billion tons of water moving in and out of the Bay of Fundy twice a day has created a reverse waterfall, sea caves, cliffs, and is home to a variety of fascinating marine life. From beachcombing and riding the rapids, to visiting the Cape d’Or lighthouse, there's something amazing for everyone to do at Saint John. Note to all travelers: The people of Saint John consider it improper to abbreviate "Saint."

Day 9, Friday, October 8

Today is another fun day at sea. Again, its time to relax and enjoy the pool with its 3 deck high slide, read in the Library or play cards in the card room. Make the most of it because its the last full day on the ship.

Day 10, Saturday, October 9

After Breakfast aboard ship, we disembark our cruise ship and re-unite with our motor coach and driver to begin our journey back home. We will travel through the pristine Pennsylvania Dutch countryside to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and enjoy an included lunch at the Plain & Fancy Restaurant for some mouth drooling Amish cooking. We continue on to New Stanton, Pennsylvania.

Day 11, Sunday, October 10

Our travels today take us through Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio and South to New Albany, Indiana for a tour of the Huber Winery. A small, family owned and operated winery that raise their own grapes and make their own wine. After the tour and wine tasting, we will be totally overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of our delicious Farewell Dinner at the Joe Huber Restaurant. If they have any left, be sure and pick up a few jars of their home grown, fresh canned Strawberry Jam. Um, Um!

Day 12, Monday, October 11

The final day of our lovely fall cruise and motor coach tour finds us traveling across Indiana, Illinois and back into Missouri with an estimated arrival time in Springfield of 4:45 PM.
