This morning we venture out into the “hill country” of Texas. Our first stop will be for a tour of the LBJ Ranch, Texas White House, LBJ Birthplace, family cemetery and more. Willkommen to Fredericksburg located in the heart of the Texas “hill country.”! Flavored by its German and frontier heritage, the holiday season is a fabulous time to visit its 150 shops, galleries, boutiques and emporiums where shopping remains one of the highlights of the tour; however, with over 700 historically significant structures in the historic district, history literally surrounds you. Later this afternoon we depart for Bandera, the “Cowboy Capital of the World”. We will do a Hayride around the ranch before we settle down for a Texas Bar-B-Que and some real Cowboy Entertainment.
