Come with us as we visit the Creation Museum and take a biblical walk through the timeline of history allowing you to explore the Bible and science through the 7 C’s of biblical history which are: Creation, Corruption (The Fall of Man), Catastrophe (The Flood), Confusion (The Tower of Babel), Christ, Cross, and the Consumation. The Museum has experienced over 1,000,000 visitors since it opened in 2007.

Day 1, Tuesday, September 7

Today is a travel day and our destination is Indianapolis, Indiana.

Day 2, Wednesday, September 8

What an experience we have in store for us today as we travel to Petersburg, Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio, and the “Answers in Genesis – The Creation Museum”. Upon arrival, we take our reserved seats in the Planetarium for an amazing show. Each seat is a rocket launching pad and takes you on an imaginary spaceflight to a far corner of the universe. After this awesome presentation, you are free to tour the Museum on your own. The centerpiece of the Museum is the historical Timeline which is a biblical walk through history. Walk through the Garden of Eden where dinosaurs roam with other animals, listen to a life-like wax sculpture of Methuselah tell his story, as well as see a portion of the Ark to scale. Visit the Dinosaur Den and be sure and watch the Theater Presentations throughout the Museum. For Instance, the “Six Day Theater” and the “Last Adam Theater” are part of the Walk-through Timeline of History. The “Dragon Legends Theater” is right beside the Dinosaur Den and don’t miss the special effect presentation of “Men in White”, a take-off of the title of the movie “Men in Black”. There is no way I can tell you everything. The theaters afford “rest breaks” throughout the Museum and there are also food venues inside the Museum. We return to our hotel for a few minutes rest before departing for “The Captains Dinner Cruise” on the BB Riverboat.

Day 3, Thursday, September 9

A local Step-On-Guide will board our motor coach for a tour of Cincinnati, known as the “river city” and also as the “City with Seven Hills”. Winston Churchill dubbed it “as the most beautiful of America’s inland cities”. After lunch, we will depart for Louisville, Kentucky and The Galt House for our overnight. We should arrive early enough for you to check out the area such as the river, or perhaps “The Louisville Slugger” plus other interesting venues within walking distance of our hotel. This evening we enjoy a farewell dinner and Broadway show at the Derby Dinner Playhouse.

Day 4, Friday, September 10

We depart Louisville this morning on our way back home to Springfield and should arrive around 4:30 PM.
