A great one day get-a-way and a perfect trip to do with Mom for the upcoming Mother's Day.

Day 1, Saturday, April 24

Today we travel to Muskogee, Oklahoma. We arrive in time for an included lunch at Miss Addie’s Café and Pub housed in the historic 1915 drug store. After our delightful lunch, we drive a few short blocks to Honor Park to delight in a multitude of Azaleas and other springtime flowers and trees in their tranquil setting of woodlands, lakes and waterfalls. See 625 varieties of Azaleas with 30,000 plants. Bring your camera, there are hundreds of Kodak moments. With the beauty of the Dogwoods and Redbuds along the way, this should be a spectacular one day get-a-way. So as not to rush the day, we’ll stop in Joplin on the return for dinner on your own. We should arrive back in Springfield by 8:15 PM.
