The larger-than-life Lanterns, hand crafted by over 30 Chinese artisans, depict holiday scenes and amazing animation of Holiday treasures and cherished Christmas memories.

Day 1, Friday, November 19

We depart Springfield to travel to Louisville, Kentucky and the awesome Galt House Hotel for two nights. We will enjoy dinner and the show at the Derby Dinner Playhouse this evening.

Day 2, Saturday, November 20

Experience Christmas like never before. Direct from China, from the land where the lights of fireworks brought wonder to the world, now comes an incomparable display of glowing light and brilliant color – KaLightoscope, and you can be one of the first to see this exhibit in the United States. Imagine strolling through a magical kaleidoscope where at every turn you experience the joy and enchantment of Christmas. Find your way through the Maze of Christmas Trees, watch Santa’s Midnight Flight over the World, and walk-through our larger than life Gingerbread House. We will also do a tour of the fabulous Kentucky Derby Museum as well as enjoy the New Kentucky Show, a beautiful presentation of the land called Kentucky. This evening we take our reserved seats for the Holiday Dinner Show, a show designed especially for the Galt House and the KaLightoscope Exhibition.

Day 3, Sunday, November 21

We depart for home this morning but instead of sugarplums dancing in our heads, those of us that have had the privilege to experience the joy and enchantment of this exhibition with its overwhelming artistry, and pure magic, will not be able to fathom all that we have seen and felt. We should arrive in Springfield by 4:30 PM.
