Day 1, Wednesday, December 6,

We depart Springfield, Missouri for Omaha, Nebraska. After arriving in Omaha and checking into our comfortable hotel, we travel to England for a music filled Olde English Madrigal Feaste. (D)

Day 2, Thursday, December 7

This morning we head to Boys Town to learn about Father Flanagan and his inspiring work.  We have a chance to see his home, and the entire campus festooned in traditional Irish decorations.  We then travel to France for an amazing lunch and presentation.  Afterwards, we’re off to pioneer era America with a visit to the Mormon Trail Historic Winter quarters to view the tasty Gingerbread Village.  We take a break with coffee and torts at the Lithuanian Bakery before heading back to the hotel for an unforgettable Irish evening.  The night is capped off with a tour of some of Omaha’s most impressive light displays.  (B  L  D)

Day 3, Friday, December 8

This morning we visit Lauritzen Gardens and their impressive display of over 7,000 poinsettias.  This is followed by a taste of Italy with a scrumptious old world Italian lunch.  This afternoon we head to the beautifully restored Union Station and view the festival of trees as well as other exhibits at the Durham Museum.  Tonight we enjoy a home cooked Greek dinner while being entertained by Greek music and dancing.  (B  L  D)

Day 4, Saturday, December 9

We end our tour by learning about Ukranian Christmas traditions before heading back to the Ozarks to prepare for our very own Christmas meals and traditions.  (B)
