Day 1, Saturday, October 6
Today we meet new friends as we travel from Springfield to Dayton, OH. Unelss delayed, we should arrive in time for complimentary drinks and hot hors’ devours buffet at our hotel.

Day 2, Sunday, October 7
Have your passports handy as our travels take us into Canada, to magnificent Niagara
Falls, Ontario

Day 3, Monday, October 8
Today we have a guided tour of Niagara Falls. Lunch is at the top of Skylon
Tower with a magnificent view from the rotating restaurant high above the Falls. The balance of the day is free to take the Maid of the Mist boat ride or explore the many shops and museums.

Day 4, Tuesday, October 9
Today we’ll experience the beauty of upstate New York as we travel through the Mohawk
Valley and Adirondack Mountains on our way to Rutland, Vermont.

Day 5, Wednesday, October 10
Our journey takes us to Quechee Gorge, the “Little Grand Canyon of Vermont”, to
admire the view and perhaps pick up a memento from Vermont. Lunch time brings us to the quaint village of Bath, New Hampshire with its Old Country Store and Covered Bridge. Be ready for some awesome scenery and fall colors as we continue on to North Conway, New Hampshire.

Day 6, Thursday, October 11
We must depart our lovely inn and head for the quaint town of Kennebunkport and a
view of the former President Bush’s summer home. A drive by the Nubble Lighthouse and then we travel on to Plymouth, Massachusetts for a tour of the Mayflower II, a replica
of the ship that brought our forefathers to America. Our overnight will be Newport, Rhode Island.

Day 7, Friday, October 12
This morning we will tour “The Breakers”, the elegant summer home of the Vanderbilts
and enjoy some free time on the waterfront before departing for New Jersey

Day 8, Saturday, October 13
Our day begins with a breathtaking view from the Observation Deck of the New York Empire State Building . This afternoon we will see the awesome metropolis from a different view as we cruise around New York City.

Day 9, Sunday, October 14
Today we will experience New York through the eyes of a local on a guided tour of the
city before boarding our ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Our overnight is in Jamesburg, New Jersey

Day 10, Monday, October 15
We depart for the “City of Brotherly Love”, Philadelphia, PA, for a guided tour of this historical city including Independence Hall, Liberty Bell and more. We continue on to Springfield, Virginia for two nights.

Day 11, Tuesday, October 16
We pick up our guide for an inspiring tour of the Nation’s Capital with stops at Lincoln and Jefferson Monuments, World War II, Korean and Vietnam Memorials among others. This afternoon explore the world famous Smithsonian Museums before a special dinner at Pier 7 Restaurant.

Day 12, Wednesday, October 17
This is an awesome day as our first stop is Mount Vernon for a tour of George Washington’s home. Next we tour the revered Arlington Cemetery to view the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and see the grave sites of John and Jackie Kennedy. Later, our trail takes us into the Blue Ridge Mountains for our overnight at Charlottesville,Virginia.

Day 13, Thursday, October 18
This morning we visit Monticello, the mountain top home of Thomas Jefferson and one of the most unique colonial homes in America. A tour and lunch at the Historical Michie Tavern and we turn west through the fabulous Shenandoah Valley and the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia into Beckley, West Virginia for tonight.

Day 14, Friday, October 19
The Eastern hills of Kentucky beckon as we begin our journey home. After a farewell
luncheon we will arrive into Louisville Kentucky for one last night’s stay. Unless delayed, we should arrive in time for complimentary drinks and hot hors’ devours buffet at our hotel.
