Day 1, Sunday February 4, 2018

We spend this Super Sunday on the road toward Jackson, MS. We should get in to our hotel in time for the provided food and drinks. Then, we can all get together to watch the commercials during the NFL Superbowl! (D)

Day 2, Monday February 5, 2018

Today we continue in to Mobile, Alabama. After lunch, we will make our first stop at the Mobile Carnival Museum where you can get up close and personal with colorful floats and over the top costumes, as you learn about the traditions surrounding the Mardi Gras Festivities. We have a little time to settle in to our hotel before heading downtown to watch two Mardi Gras parades. (B, L)

Day 3, Tuesday February 6, 2018

This morning we will join a local guide for a fun and informative tour of Mobile. We will see stately neighborhoods, historic downtown and the waterfront. After an included lunch, we will tour the battleship USS Alabama. Home to a crew of 2,500 courageous Americans, this 45,000 ton gentle giant’s WWII adventure culminated with BB-60 leading the American Fleet into Tokyo Bay on September 5, 1945. Nine Battle Stars for meritorious service were awarded the “Mighty A” during her brief three year tenure as the “Heroine of the Pacific”. (B,L)

Day 4, Wednesday February 7, 2018

We leave Mobile for Pensacola, FL this morning. Here you will have the option of spending the day on the beach, wandering through the historic downtown area, exploring a wildlife sanctuary or – if you have a passport, or other REAL ID compliant ID- you may choose to visit the National Naval Aviation Museum. Your tour director will have many options available so you can personalize your day! (B)
