Day 1, March 25, 2022

Depart Springfield aboard our patriotic white bus for a special weekend in Hot Springs.  Following lunch in Bryant, AR, we’ll continue through the hills to Hot Springs.  Once we check in to our hotel, there’s time to explore downtown Hot Springs or venture over to Oaklawn Park if you like to pick up some “Tip Sheets” for tomorrow’s racing action.  Finish the evening relaxing however you desire. Day 2, March 26, 2022

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then board the coach for a quick ride to Oaklawn Park.  We’ll have plenty of time to explore the clubhouse and find good seating in the Grandstand. Inside, protected from the weather, be assured of a comfortable afternoon, but you’ll be more than welcome to venture outside to the rail to cheer on your winners.  After the last race, take the coach back to the hotel or venture out on your own.  Tonight is another evening free to grab a snack, shop the boutiques or just relax at the hotel. Day 3, March 27, 2022

After a second morning meal at the hotel, we’ll load the coach for the trip home.  Enjoy the beautiful Arkansas scenery as we share our pictures and our stories about our weekend in Hot Springs and all the fun people we met.  Make plans now for another Sunnyland adventure – we’ve got something for everyone. Please Note: Many of our sightseeing stops/sites require extensive standing, sitting, walking – sometimes on unpaved or cobblestone streets, loading and unloading into horse drawn carriages and/or trolleys.    Sunnyland Travel will not refund or cover any cost of expense incurred for any missed activities due to a participant’s inability to fully participate with the group.  If you require assistance in walking, navigating stairs, etc., you are required to travel with a qualified physically-able companion who can accompany and provide such assistance.  Due to many historic locations, the motor coach is not allowed to stay on site or remain running to provide an alternate shelter for those not able to participate in an event.  Please make sure you read the itinerary fully and call one of our travel consultants if you have any questions.
