Day 1
Our Mississippi River adventure begins as we depart Springfield to travel to LeClaire, Iowa. This evening we will arrive at Antique Archeology, to see the famous “Home of American Pickers” before heading back to the hotel for dinner. (L, D)
Day 2
Today we begin our luxurious ride aboard the Twilight Riverboat. We will spend the day relaxing and enjoying the sights along the banks of the beautiful Mississippi river. Our Captain will be your guide to the wildlife, valley landscapes and historic river towns. On ship activities, entertainment and food are yours to enjoy. We will arrive at the docks in Dubuque and head to our lodging for the night at the Grand Harbor Resort. The evening is yours to enjoy and explore the city of 5 flags; France, Spain, Great Britain, Napoleon and USA. (B, L, D)
Day 3
This morning we will visit Iowa’s #1 attraction, the must-see Smithsonian-accredited National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. Then we will take a stroll back to our Twilight Riverboat, where we will spend the rest of our day floating along and taking in all the sights you missed before on our return journey. This evening we will arrive in St LeClaire, where we will spend the night at the Isle Bettendorf Casino Resort.
Day 4
Today we return to Springfield with special memories of relaxing, luxurious days on the Mississippi River. (B)
