The Eyes of Texas will be upon us as we travel to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for one of NASCAR’s premiere events – the O’Reilly 500 Monster Energy Cup race. The fanfare, color and 200-mile-per-hour speeds of this exciting races are to be enjoyed with new and old Sunnyland friends. This track holds the NASCAR record for single-race attendance at over 227,000, but we shouldn’t have to worry about trying to find seats…our chairback seats are all ready for you!

Day 1, March 27, 2020
Climb onboard for a fun weekend at the Races in Dallas. Sit back and relax as we travel through Oklahoma with time to enjoy the early spring scenery. Enjoy a great Fajita dinner and Texas hospitality at our hotel this evening. (D)
Day 2, March 28, 2020
After breakfast we’ll load up for the day and on the way to the track, stop at Buc-ee’s to fill up our coolers with snacks & beverages. Texas Motor Speedway is renown as one of the fastest tracks on the NASCAR circuit. Opened in 1997, the “quad-oval” has been the scene of wild crashes and controversial finishes.
After the race, join us as we travel a short distance back to Oklahoma for an evening at the WinStar Casino Resort, where we can grab a little dinner and enjoy a little action at the slots. (B)
Day 3, March 29, 2020
Let’s repeat our “pre-race” routine: enjoy a leisurely breakfast, board the coach with our coolers and stop at Buc-ee’s for some delicious meat, fruit or bakery items…and of course, something to wet the whistle.
Arrive at the track with plenty of time to visit the pits and pick up a headset and scanner to listen to drivers communicate with their crew. Pit passes and scanners are available from vendors at the track.
After we leave the track and arrive back at our hotel, join your tour director for a little wine-and-cheese soiree, and replay the track action that you witnessed in person. (B)
Day 4, March 30, 2020
Once more we’ll have a hot breakfast at the hotel. As we head back home, we want to thank you for traveling with Sunnyland – see you again soon! (B)
