Day 1, Sunday, July 22, 2012

Travel Day to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Day 2, Monday, July 23, 2012

First a tour of the Mitchell Corn Palace, a building made completely out of corn, and then a drive through the awesome Badlands National Park.  We will visit the famous Wall Drug store before arriving at Rapid City, South Dakota.

Day 3, Tuesday, July 24, 2012

Enjoy the famed scenery of the Black Hills as we visit the Mt. Rushmore National Monument and do a drive by Crazy Horse  Monument.  Some free time in Deadwood and then our destination is Sheridan, Wyoming.

Day 4, Wednesday, July 25, 2012

We turn west through the Bighorn Mountains into the wild west town of Cody, Wyoming and tour the Buffalo Bill Museum before continuing on to the Yellowstone National Park and 2 nights lodging in West Yellowstone.

Day 5, Thursday, July 26, 2012

We include breakfast this morning and then do a driving tour of Yellowstone with a local
guide.  Some of the things we will visit include the Fountain Paint Pots and Geyser Basin.  Stop at Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and view the magnificent Yellowstone Falls, twice the height of Niagara.

Day 6, Friday, July 27, 2012

We depart Yellowstone and do a driving tour to view the 7 Spires of the Grand Tetons which also includes lovely Jenny Lake and the Chapel of the Transfiguration. Our lodging for tonight will be in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Day 7, Saturday, July 28, 2012

We turn our backs on the Grand Tetons and begin our trek back home.  All of the views are not behind us as scenes of the mighty Rocky Mountains are plentiful as we travel to Denver, Colorado.  Unless delayed, we should arrive in time for complimentary drinks and hot hors’ devours buffet at our hotel.

Day 8, Sunday, July 29, 2012

A travel day takes us to Salina, Kansas for our last night out on this truly delightful tour.  We have planned a lovely farewell dinner for you tonight as our way of saying Thank You for traveling with Sunnyland Tours.
